P.S.H. Therapy Vocational Training Programme

------- The training programme is currently undergoing restructuring to enhance its accessibility for practitioners across diverse backgrounds. Participants will be able to access training at introductory, intermediate, and advanced levels. Watch this space for updates.
P.S.H. Therapy Training Programme
  • Private Subconscious-mind Healing is an innovative approach to therapy which utilises an evidence-based understanding of natural subconscious processes. P.S.H. has been utilised in Australia since 1983.

  • The P.S.H. Therapy Training Programme is most appropriate for people who wish to make a dedicated career in supporting people to heal emotional memory.

  • Please note: if you are considering the training programme as another 'tool for your toolbox', please reconsider... P.S.H. is not another tool that is required, it is a paradigm shift that for some requires a change in mindset.

  • Our programme is designed to give participants the most thorough, up-to- date understanding and practical skills necessary for helping people permanently resolve the underlying (subconscious) emotional causes of a very wide range of unhappy, unhealthy symptoms and problems that are so commonly experienced in modern society. There is no prior tertiary education or training / experience required to enrol in the training programme. In fact many of the most successful P.S.H. therapists had no training or experience at all, prior to learning P.S.H.

  • The course focuses on the rapidly growing evidence base of neuroscience in support of our innate ability to heal emotional memory, while also being experientially focused. There is an emphasis on ‘hands-on’ practical exercises (session work), practising with classmates through every step of the therapy procedures. ‘Mini’ written assessments are carried out during each module to identify issues requiring extra attention and to prepare students for their final written/practical assessment at the conclusion of the course. At the conclusion of each module, participants are encouraged to practise and work with clients to the level of their current training and abilities.
  • Home-study is an important and integral part of the programme. There are several written and recorded assignments to be completed. These are designed to broaden students’ understanding of course content and gain useful knowledge of other relevant issues that cannot be directly addressed as part of the curriculum. An important part of the school’s commitment is to supply ongoing backup and assistance for students working between training modules.
  • Formal assessment of all course work is carried out during the final training module. Upon successful completion of all course work, written, practical and verbal assessment, full attendance of all training modules and receipt of a specified percentage of positive feedback from clients, students are graduated from the course and receive the school’s award: G.S.P.P. (Qld) – Graduate Statement of Proficiency in P.S.H. therapy. Once a student has completed the training programme, they are eligible to become an Associate Member of the Australasian Subconscious-mind Therapists' Association (ASTA), the professional body overseeing P.S.H. therapy in Australia. Please visit psh.org.au for more information. Professional mentoring (individual and group) is offered through the Association.*
  • ---
  • *The opportunity to engage in professional mentoring once the training programme is complete is highly recommended and will incur a small additional hourly fee (paid direct to the mentor and not to the school). ** If you are currently working in the field, you may be eligible for a rebate on the GST component of the programme and / or claim tax deductions for the cost of the training programme and associated travel costs. If you are studying from overseas, tuition fees may be GST free. Please visit the Australian Taxation Office for advice and guidance.
